Diptyque Do Son is a white floral fragrance inspired by memories of the Vietnamese seaside and the scent of blooming tuberose in warm evening air. As a child, Yves Coueslant, one of Diptyque’s co-founders, spent his summers by the sea in a pagodon built by his father in Do Son, near Along Bay. Far from the humid heat of the large port of Haiphong, the air was cooler. The sea breeze carried with it the scent of tuberose—intoxicating and gently spiced blossoms that his mother loved so much.
